Where have I been? Well, I've been supervising the preparation of the tasty meats for grilling, that's where. Its vital that huskies be a part of the preparation process so they can ensure that the meats are seasoned just right (with a bit of kitchen floor gunk and our tongues) and to clean up any messes that get spilled quickly so that the humans don't slip on anything.
Unfortunately our assistance is NOT appreciated in this house. We were patiently waiting for things to be dropped so we could pick them up. What's the best way to do this? Well, the proper management style is to lay right in front of the area where the food is being prepared. I was on my air vent doing quality control, Sam was sprawled in front of the dishwasher and Loki had dutifully spread out his ample ass in front of the other counter when we were fired.
Yep, fired from our jobs. We were forced to supervise outside of the kitchen, which is ineffective and dangerous (I'm contacting OSHA about this). How on earth can we lick up spills from out here?
Sure, the human woman tried to bribe us later with food, but that's not the point. Sure we got our nightly livergreat, but still, that's not the point! I'm filing a grievance with the Husky Union about this!
